This test covers material from Chapters 8,9, & 10
Part I. Matching.
16 various vocabulary words from the chapters. The students will receive a crossword puzzle with all 16 words on it on May 6.
Part II. Countries & Capitals.
Students must know the correct spelling of the 13 countries & 14 capitals of South America. They are listed below.
Venezuela - Caracas
Guyana - Georgetown
Suriname - Paramaribo
French Guiana - Cayenne
Brazil - Brasilia
Uruguay - Montevideo
Argentina - Buenos Aires
Paraguay - Asuncion
Bolivia - Sucre & LaPaz (yes, you need to know both)
Chile - Santiago
Peru - Lima
Ecuador - Quito
Colombia - Bogota
Part III. Identify places on a map of South America. Students will be able to use their map for the test, but it must be out of the notebook (too many answers in the rest of the notebook)
